Matthew directed his first feature film before the age of 21 and has since worked on multiple award-winning fictional and documentary shorts. His solo directorial debut was screened across the UK, including at London and Manchester Lift-Off Film Festivals. Since then, Matthew has focused on non-fiction stories, with one of his latest documentaries garnering two wins and three official selections at BIFA-qualifying festivals, as well as an official selection at 2024’s BFI Future film festival; the biggest in the country for young filmmakers.
