In October we celebrate National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM). Join us for an evening of film and conversation. The Akron Art Museum, ASCPL, and Reelabilities Film Festival: Cleveland & Akron will be hosting a series of short films paired with a post film  talk out. All events are free and open to the public.

Soul (Signs): Opera Film Summary: A series of three short films exploring the intersection of opera and American Sign Language, starring some of today’s most acclaimed Deaf and signing performers. Created by Up Until Now Collective.

Imagined Touch Film Summary: When two deafblind women ask a theater director to help them make a show about being deaf and blind, never in their wildest dreams did they imagine it would become an award-winning show.

Parking: Free parking is available in the High and Market Street deck on weekends and parking is free Monday-Friday after 6pm with a voucher from the Library.  Front door drop off is available on South High Street for Akron ReelAbilities Film events at the Akron-Summit County Public Library and the Akron Art Museum.
