The City of Los Angeles Department on Disability is hiring for part-time project coordinator for ReelAbilities Film Festival Los Angeles.

This person will make sure everything goes according to plan for the event and will be the main point of contact and manager for the project.
People that are registered and qualified to do business in the State of California and have a Los Angeles City Business Tax Registration Certificate (BTRC) or a Vendor Registration Number (VRN) can apply.
You don’t have to have a business license, but you do need to register with the State of California (bizfileonline.sos.ca.gov). And the good news is, you don’t have to be a formal company to get these things!

Duties include:

Coordinating production of the ReelAbilities Film Festival Los Angeles taking place on May 4-5, 2024.
Producing materials related to venues, host venues, fundraising, programming, vendors, partnerships, and production for the 2024 ReelAbilities Film Festival Los Angeles;
Cultivating, establishing, and maintaining relationships with potential partners, sponsors, and vendors; and Coordinating all needed internal and external meetings.

Coordination of the festival will include managing and updating the project timeline, conducting key tasks and tracking tasks assigned to DOD staff and external vendors.
