Elena is a single mother attempting to manage her son Tom’s behavioral issues. When Tom is diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), Elena becomes aware of the impact of possible side effects of his medication. With Social Services threatening to remove him from her custody, Elena sets off to fight for the well being of the only person she has.
