Stewart’s career as a director-writer-producer straddles the worlds of film and theater and encompasses techniques of both narrative and documentary storytelling. His undergraduate studies in architectural design and photography at the University of Pennsylvania, coupled with filmmaking skills acquired at NYU’s graduate school of Film and Television inform the dynamic aesthetic of his award-winning work.
Stewart has directed extensively for theater in New York and surrounding regions and has recently completed the feature-length documentary “LEFT ALONE RHAPSODY.” Stewart has directed numerous short films for Montclair State University. His feature-length screenplays are in various stages of production. Most importantly, Stewart is a ‘people person’ priding himself on his ability to create a comfortable, safe, and professional working environment in which compelling art can be made in both the theatrical and corporate worlds.
