Submit Your Rough-cut for the ReelAbilities Loreen Arbus Completion Award

ReelAbilities Film Festival: New York is excited to announce its inaugural rough-cut pitch program and presentation of the Loreen Arbus Completion Award, to be held as part of the ReelAbilities Industry Summit, April 8-9, 2024 in New York City.

Film projects in rough-cut stage, fiction or nonfiction, with at least one key creative with a disability, are eligible to submit.

Among the submitted projects, 3-4 will be selected to pitch in front of a panel of Industry leaders. One project will be awarded the Loreen Arbus Completion Award of $10,000.

In addition to a $10,000 cash prize presented by Loreen Arbus Productions, mentorship from industry experts, filming and editing equipment, accessibility assets, and other exciting career advancing opportunities will be awarded.

Terms & eligibility: 

* Feature (50+ minutes) projects that will be in rough-cut / completion stage by April 1st 2024. Narrative or Documentary are welcome.

* All projects need to have key creative talent to include a person with disability (Writer or Director).

* Be prepared to pitch in person in New York City on April 9th.

* Projects must be submitted by February 15.

* Application is free.
