Submit your film & TV project to ReelAbilities Crip Script Pitch Program

The ReelAbilities Film Festival: New York is thrilled to announce the 2025 Crip Script Pitch Program (CSPP), taking place during the Festival’s Industry Summit: Disability Inclusion and Equity in Film + Performing Arts on April 7-8, 2025, in New York City.

This year, the CSPP returns with three dynamic tracks—Fiction, Non-Fiction, and TV—providing an extraordinary opportunity for filmmakers with disabilities to pitch their project ideas to industry leaders. Participants will compete for exciting prizes, including cash awards, mentorship from seasoned professionals, access to filming and editing equipment, accessibility resources, and other career-advancing opportunities.

Selected projects will be chosen from submissions to present their pitches live in front of a judges’ panel and an audience.

Terms & eligibility: 

* Feature projects (50+ minutes) in development / script stage: Narrative or Documentary and TV series formats are welcome to submit.

* All projects need to have key creative talent to include a person with disability (Writer or Director).

* Be prepared to pitch in person in New York City on April 8, 2025.

* Projects must be submitted by 11:59pm ET, January 5, 2025.

* Application is free.

* Notifications of selected projects will be made by January 31, 2025.
