ReelAbilities Film Festival: New York is proud to announce its 2024 Crip Script Pitch Program, to be held as part of the ReelAbilities Industry Summit, April 8-9, 2024 in New York City.
The CSPP is back in an expanded format, comprising three tracks: Fiction, Non-fiction and TV, inviting filmmakers with disabilities to pitch their project ideas to Industry leaders and gain a chance to win cash awards, mentorship from industry experts, filming and editing equipment, accessibility assets, and other exciting career advancing opportunities.
Among the submitted projects, 3 will be chosen to pitch in each track in front of a judges panel and an audience (total of 9 pitches).
Terms & eligibility:
* Feature (50+ minutes) projects in development / script stage: Narrative or Documentary and TV series format are welcome.
* All projects need to have key creative talent to include a person with disability (Writer or Director).
* Be prepared to pitch in person in New York City on the afternoon of April 8-9, 2024.
* Projects must be submitted by February 15, 2024.
* Application is free.

Hosted in partnership with the NYC Mayor’s Office for Media and Entertainment, Reelabilities´ industry Summit gathers industry professionals to explore and discuss topics of accessibility, inclusion and representation in all aspects of the film and performing arts industries, and explore beyond the basics into progressive best practices.
Industry leaders, including Disabled creatives, share knowledge and experience providing participants with the tools to elevate accessibility and open pathways to deeper inclusion.
