We Love Volunteers!

ReelAbilities Chicago is a volunteer-run festival dedicated to sharing stories of disability through film and art. Without the help of volunteers this festival would not happen. We value the time, skills and experience every volunteer brings to the team. Here are a few ways you can volunteer:

Be on our Planning Committee: The panning team meets monthly and tackles all aspects of the festival such as screening films, marketing and promotion of the festival, outreach and community partnerships, fundraising, accessibility, and more.

• We expect volunteers to be committed, reliable and follow through with tasks.
• We love to hear your ideas – you are part of the team
• Meetings are held in-person with the option to conference or video chat remotely.

Festival Week Volunteers: Festival Week gets very busy with many film screenings and additional programming. We rely on volunteers to assist as ushers, check-in/registration staff, access assistants, among other duties. Thank you for your interest – ALL POSITIONS FOR 2019 HAVE BEEN FILLED!
