Westhampton

Tom Bell did something tragic in his youth; something that ruined his closest friends' lives. And then he went and made a movie about it... Now, years later, Tom is forced to return to his hometown, the scene of the tragedy, and finally face the people he wronged and a town that views him as a pariah. While reluctantly screening his debut feature Westhampton, a semi-autobiographical film about the car crash that killed his high school girlfriend Beth, he learns that his childhood home has been sold and he needs to retrieve his boxed-up belongings. For the first time since the accident, Tom is returning to the real Westhampton. Upon arriving home, Tom discovers he’s locked out. On his quest to obtain a key, he gradually regresses toward his younger dysfunctional self as his path intersects with Dickie, Beth’s older brother, Avery, Beth’s much-younger sister to whom she shares a ghostly resemblance, and other shadows from his past. In order to return to his normal life, Tom must literally and figuratively deal with the baggage of his past—but the residents of Westhampton won’t make it easy.
