Rag Dolls

Amy Adler|USA|Spanish|12 MIN|2025
Rag Dolls follows Rosalinda and Diana, a married couple navigating life in Puebla, Mexico, where their disabilities intersect with poverty and discrimination. Rosalinda, born with Spina Bifida, manages the household chores, while Diana, who has Cerebral Palsy, asserts her independence in her own ways. Abandoned by family, underserved by government support systems, and facing persistent homophobia, the women have built a life centered on mutual care and protection. The film observes an ordinary day as they move through their routines with their two small dogs, venture out for a romantic date, and return home to reflect on their ongoing challenges and their enduring love.
