Michael Sladek is a film and theater director, writer, editor, cameraperson, designer and actor based in Brooklyn. His original feature film directing credits include CON ARTIST (New Yorker Films, Tribeca Film Festival), BAM150 (Cinema Guild, Tribeca Film Festival), and DEVILS ARE DREAMING (Newport Beach Film Festival). His original short films include WE LIVE ON YOUR STREET (Slamdance Film Festival) and ALL AGAINST THE SEA (Woodstock Film Festival). He serves as the NY Consultant for SAGindie, as an adjunct film professor at Wagner College and makes commissioned work under his production banner Plug Ugly Films. A SAG-AFTRA member, Michael grew up working in the live theater in Denver and Southern California.
