Clemency Burton-Hill is an award-winning violinist, broadcaster, podcast host, producer, author and journalist. Born in London, she studied English Literature at Cambridge University before making her name as one of the UK’s most trusted voices in arts & music broadcasting and journalism. Queen Elizabeth II conferred on her an MBE for her services to the arts. In 2018, she moved to NYC to become Creative Director of New York Public Radio (WNYC/WQXR). In January, 2020, at the age of 38, she suffered a catastrophic AVM rupture and multiple strokes, leaving this mother-of-two unable to walk, talk, read, write or play the violin anymore. ‘My Brain: After The Rupture’ is her remarkable story. @clemencybh
