Film Information
The HOW WE LOOK PROJECT is a collection of three narrative shorts exploring dwarf culture and identity. Created and performed by Little People (LPs), the films examine image-making through renaissance portraiture, sideshow photography, and medical imaging. Each piece offers insight into representation, agency, and self-expression, highlighting the intersections of culture, disability, and creativity. By centering authentic voices and lived experiences, the project challenges stereotypes while celebrating artistry, resilience, and pride within the LP community. These films offer audiences an immersive, thought-provoking journey into identity, visibility, and the ways visual culture shapes perception.
