Panelist, The Impact ReportRachel Neches is the Senior Data and Policy Researcher at the Center for an Urban Future, an independent think tank focused on building a stronger and more equitable New York. At CUF, she leads data-driven research on the creative economy, workforce development, economic mobility, and more. Her work translates data into actionable policy insights that inform decision-making across the city and state. Last year, Rachel was a Forefront Fellow with the Urban Design Forum, where she worked alongside a diverse cohort to envision a New York City where older adults can thrive with support and dignity. She holds a BA in Urban Studies (Economics) from Barnard College. Prior to joining CUF, Rachel served as Manager of Government Affairs and Research at the Times Square Alliance. She lives in Brooklyn.
