Joseph Kibler

Joseph Kibler is a New York City–based actor, writer, and director whose work is shaped by his lived experience as a person born with a disability and living with HIV, bringing authenticity and depth to every project.

He earned his Film degree from the Los Angeles Film School and trained in improv and sketch writing at the Upright Citizens Brigade. His on-screen credits include Chicago Med, Good Trouble, Criminal Minds, and CSI: Cyber, along with national commercials for Wells Fargo, the National Association of Realtors, Cox Cable, Toyota, and UnitedHealthcare.

Joseph also produced and was the subject of the award-winning documentary Walk On, which chronicles his journey from being told he would never walk to completing 6.2 miles in the LA AIDS Walk at age 21. As a writer, his work has been recognized by The Black List, The Red List, and The Disability List.

Most recently, he co-created and stars in Adoptive with his wife, Carey Cox, a pilot supported by Adobe and the Easterseals Disability Film Challenge.
