She is renowned for her strategic foresight, embedding inclusion into core operations, team leadership, and unmatched ability to tackle complex business challenges through innovative initiatives.
In her current role as Global Head of Customer Inclusion, Prime Video & Studios, Amanda pioneers initiatives that catalyze cultural transformation and operational enhancements across large-scale organizations.
Previously, Amanda served as Head of Product and Strategy for Amazon MGM Studios' Inclusion team, where she successfully integrated inclusive principles into both content and talent strategies, significantly enhancing on- and off-screen representation.
In her recent roles at Amazon, Amanda spearheaded the implementation of company-wide inclusion strategies impacting over 700,000 employees globally. Her efforts in championing diversity recruiting initiatives, offering expert guidance on critical people goals, and maintaining key partnerships with community organizations were pivotal in achieving inclusive hiring aspirations. Notably, she led Amazon’s inaugural HBCU Conference, resulting in a 34% full-time employment conversion rate.
During her Amazon tenure, Amanda established transformative programs such as a comprehensive Black Women executive conference, setting a new industry benchmark for leadership development. Her record of accomplishment in forging diverse talent lifecycle strategies enhanced director-level diverse recruitment.
Amanda has also played a pivotal part in regional talent supply chain management, overseeing high-volume hiring processes, and creating streamlined operational efficiencies. Among her noteworthy achievements are leading the launch of robotics fulfillment centers, instituting regional best practices, and realizing over $10M in operational savings through strategic project and change management.
She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from North Carolina A&T State University. In addition, she earned a Project Management Certificate from Colorado State University; a Lean Six Sigma Certification from the University of Colorado; and a DEI Certification from Cornell University. An active member of her community, Amanda serves on the board of Mountain Willow Montessori School, volunteers with Girls Inc., and is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., where she continues to champion equity and empowerment initiatives.
